Rained in with Noodles

Noodle DishSo my fiance and I woke up today thinking that we were going to enjoy a nice day out in Westminter, MD at Baugher’s picking peaches. Unfortunately for us, good ole mother nature had other plans. It rained like crazy this morning and they shut the place down for the day because of the thunder, lightning, and hail.

So of course, this left me Mad Hungry for something up until lunch time. Sure, I wasn’t just going to get full on peaches, but come on! Once you get pumped up for an hour-long trip out to the country and get disappointed like that your stomach wants to be compensated in the worst way (worst meaning best obviously).

Thanks to my wonderful fiance and a quick run to Super Fresh in Spring Valley we got some grated Parmesan and she whipped up a wonderful noodle dish that’s good for any rainy day (or any other day for that matter).

Ingredients

  1. 3 chicken breasts
  2. A handful of parsley
  3. 3/4 lb(ish) of gemelli noodles
  4. Grated Kraft Parmesan
  5. Salt and pepper to taste

I’m not going to go into the details of how to cook the dang thing because I’m pretty sure you can guess how it all went down. It took about 30 minutes tops and bottom line, it hit the spot.
